I am starting the course from today. I went through the github and code is arranged in day wise directory structure. But in real project, how would the project structure look like ? How are we going to define separate services here ?
So when I’m developing right now, I should follow component wise code structure right ? Sorry for silly questions but this is first time I’m trying build big project in python. I’m more of spring boot person so finding this little difficult right
This course assume student could be fresh grads onwards and doesn't know anything, so approach is bottom up. Components would build slowly over time. We have not yet started building top down, service by service. We may do so if students ask for it. I hope this is what you are looking out for.

Get comfortable with the initial lessons, later mostly your focus will be on concept under discussion. Multiples lesson can be done in single couple of hours(depending on your exp.) you could easily cover-up past lessons. But if you want we can send out the previous lessons in email to have you copies of them.
I am a bit confused,are we going to deploy this or just have a local kubernetes cluster? If yes, then it's gonna cost us as we are gonna use cloud providers, how much will that be in general. Also if we deploy and get a public endpoint, how will we test it, I mean we first need to ingest logs to it, would that also have an API or do we do that manually and then use REST to fetch them or something. I just wanted to understand what the end product will look like. I have tried making some projects myself and I get stuck on local docker compose or Kubernetes, that's why wanted to get an idea.
Deployment is an important part of this course, and we will be including a dedicated lesson on deploying the solution to a cloud provider—likely AWS. That said, deploying to any cloud platform should be fairly straightforward, as most providers offer deployment playbooks or guides tailored to common use cases.
Kubernetes will also be covered in due course, so you'll get hands-on experience with container orchestration and scalable deployments.
For now, our primary focus is on building the complete solution and covering the core system design concepts. Cloud deployment isn’t required at this stage—local deployments will be sufficient for our learning objectives.

Everything is a part of whole. We will build small components slowly and keep integrating to form a bigger component. Initially 2-3 hours a day, once you get used to tools usage and overall structure, it would take 1-2 hours hardly.
